The Bloombub blog pages were a bit neglected! I had a browse around my own blog today and was terribly embarrassed at the out of date stock I was displaying. I’ve now updated most of them, and I guess the most important is the Summer Collection. I’d love to see some photos of customers wearing their Bloombub outfits for our gallery too… please send them to me!

The Madeit store is also fully stocked! If you need to send gifts to interstate or overseas friends and family, I am happy to giftwrap and send your presents direct to the recipient. So easy…

And if finishing the market stock wasn’t exhausting enough, I’ve been straight back into some Christmas crochet embellished tees and singlets, with bloomers, Mini-Pinnies and maybe a skirt or two to come!

It had a little striped/starry skirt with red mesh overlay too, but in typical toddler fashion, she sat on some concrete and wrecked it within minutes of this photo ( at the daycare Christmas Party).

Market stock

Land ahoy

We spied these little mermaids in the park today…. beautiful summery colours – pink, yellow, green. I hear there’s even a rainbow coloured one coming to The Mummy Tree Markets.

Lovely weather for shorts

After several days of miserable weather here in Brisbane, the sun is finally shining and I can hear the neighbourhood kids running rampant in the park across from our house. We’ve been a little stir crazy ourselves, plagued with illnesses and cooped up inside.

Still, rainy weather was a great opportunity to sew and here’s some of the shorts we’re going to have for sale at The Mummy Tree Markets on Sunday 31 October at Bloombub’s very  first market stall!

Little C is my model here (inside on a wet and windy Saturday evening, hence the poor lighting!), but the blue versions are definitely suitable for little boys too, and we have some black shorts with groovy pockets under construction too.

Summer giveaway

I am very pleased to have reached 250 fans on our Facebook page, and to celebrate, I am having another giveaway!

I’ll be posting a new product every couple of days for the next two or so weeks, including some previews of very special garments that will be available exclusively at our The Mummy Tree Markets stall on October 31st (pop over and see their new website… Bloombub is there already!)

Today’s summer preview is of our new Surfer Swing Top… available in blue, pink or black colourways. Featuring a halter neck with a snap closure and sweet a-line shape.

Just makes me want to throw a towel in the car and head for the beach!
